Our property is near the Mar Menor, a beautiful lagoon which is protected from the med' by the La Manga strip. The lagoon is always calm and very safe for water sports. There are many safe and clean beaches all around the Mar Menor. The weather is wonderful all year round and if you wish to explore further a field it is only a short drive to Murcia, Cartagena, Torrevieja and Alicante.

Los Alcazares is a traditional Spanish town with no high rise buildings. There are some excellent restaurants, bars and shops and regular markets twice a week. The town is on the Mar Menor and has a lovely beach and a harbour. There are the usual colourful festivals and regular celebrations according to the Spanish traditions.

Budget airlines fly from Birmingham International, Gatwick, Stanstead and Luton airports to San Javier (Murcia) International airport. Approx ' a 2 hour flight.
Our property is at Senorio de Roda, a traditionally styled Spanish development only 10/15 mins from the airport.
